I Remember Patson Dzamara As The Activist Who Encouraged Me To Keep Prophesying And Writing Against Zimbabwe

As today Zimbabwe mourns the sudden death of activist Patson Dzamara, I remember this man as the man I wrote about here and there, yet he was honorable to say to me he reads my articles still, and I should keep writing…

I remember when I wrote about the hypocrisy of Evan Mawarire, Patson was one of the first people to write to me privately and say today my sister, I agree with you.

A lot of famous Zimbabwean personalities agree with my prophecies against Zimbabwe, they really agree with me, but they can never come out publicly to associate with me, because it will cost them their following and they will endure a fair share of persecution for associating with me, so they come to me like a thief in the night, in my private inbox, and say, “Keep writing my sister, I really agree with your articles.”

Like how Nicodemus went to Christ in the night, privately, I am that woman whom “big” Zimbabwean personalities can only approach privately…

The Princes of Zimbabwe, as Patson Dzamara was, deal with me like how the Princes and Israel leaders dealt with the Prophets of that time, it was not wise to be seen publicly with a prophet, because the prophets of that time prophesied against the wickedness of Israel. So associating with them was very risky or even acknowledging that you know them could cost one their reputation, and worse, their life.

True Prophets were considered fools and mad…

Even Elisha had to summon one of his junior prophets to go and anoint a man, Jehu privately and run away fast as soon as he was done so no one would see him, because it was that dangerous to be a prophet, people would hate you and want to stone you to death…but for prophet, sadly as he was running away from Jehu, he was spotted by the people, and they called the prophet a “maniac.” Even Jehu, after he had been anointed privately as King , could not even bring himself to acknowledge the prophet in front of his friends, but rather he said, “guys, you know the dude is mad, he says crazy things.”

I know many a Zimbabwean who know in their hearts of hearts that I am a teller of the truth go around saying to their friends…”You know that woman is crazy, and the things she says oo…”

There is nothing new under the sun…

“When Jehu went out to his fellow officers, one of them asked him, “Is everything all right? Why did this maniac come to you?”

“You know the man and the sort of things he says,” Jehu replied.

“That’s not true!” they said. “Tell us.” 2 Kings 9.

The same way Zimbabwe considers me today when I prophecy against her and her Officers like Evan Mawarire and the likes of Fadzayi Mahere, who are the doom of Zimbabwe and the evidence of the curse on the land…

The days of visitation have come. The days of reckoning have come. Israel will consider the prophet to be a fool, and the man who is inspired to be insane, because of the abundance of your sins, and because your hostility is great.” Hosea 9:7

It happened to Amos too, they saw him as a conspiracy theorist…and chased him away…

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

“For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land. Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court.” Amos 7

A true Prophet would actually be cursed by the people they prophesied against, and the people would chase them and insult them and tell them to stop speaking about them and go prophesy somewhere else, just like today what happens to me when I speak about Zimbabwe. They always say to me, with each article I write about them, “Leave Zimbabwe alone, and go prophesy somewhere else. Go prophecy in Ghana.”

But Ghana is my Master’s native land, I have nothing to prophesy against it, I have to bow and respect my husband’s people, but yes, I look back and prophesy against where I came from, for God has called me to do so…

But Zimbabweans prefer their false prophets like Eric Knight, who ironically is father of foolish Zimbabwean woman Moira knight, who threw away her marriage in search for material possessions. Well, Eric Knight, 2 years ago made a sad embarrassing false prophesy that Zimbabwe will rise again and the economy would revive, when the actual opposite was to be fulfilled. Prophet Eric Knight had the nerve to call on Zimbabweans to quote him 2 years later. Today Eric Knight has been revealed as a false prophet, but Zimbabweans will rather have the lies of Eric Knight than the truth that Zimbabwe will not rise again.

Eric Knight’s false prophecy

But I did respect Patson, because he never once insulted me, even when I prophesied against him or his beloved country, which I did a lot. I always found Zimbabwean activists the biggest hypocrites of them all, I even wrote against Patson very brutally, and he would say “YOU HIT WITH A BIG STICK”. When I prophesied against false women like Linda Masarira, Patson would come to my inbox and say “keep it up my sister.”

That’s how I will always remember Patson, the Zimbabwean personality who acknowledged my power of the pen, privately of course…as most of them do, and in a way, encouraged me, and for that I will never stop writing or prophesying…

May Patson Dzamara’s soul rest in peace
