So I’m giving this one last shot before I quit.
I’ve been on like five different Thai dating sites in the last month. Most of them feel like ghost towns or bot farms. I’m not looking for a hookup… I genuinely want to try dating a Thai woman and build something real! But almost every Thai dating site I’ve tried either has no one online, or they respond once and disappear.
Do Thai dating sites for foreigners actually work anymore? If you’ve had luck, where? I’m trying to figure out what’s the best Thai dating site that doesn’t just milk credits and vanish.

BUT there are a few decent ones that didn’t feel like a scam. These 3 were the only ones I’d use again:- SakuraDate – Probably the most legit out of all I tried. Not a huge site, but it’s clean, the girls’ bios are solid (not just “hello dear”) and they’re not instantly asking for money or gifts. It’s a credit-based Thai dating service but the pricing’s chill. I’ve been talking to one girl from Chiang Rai for like 3 weeks now.
- LanaDate – More international, but they’ve got a good number of Thai women. The voice message option is surprisingly helpful, makes chats feel more real. Not free, but worth it if you’re not in a rush. Probably the best Thai dating website if you’re looking for something with more depth.
- NaomiDate – Newer but not bad. The search filters are very useful!! I found Thai women by region, age, even by religion. Some girls are super responsive. Not as busy as the other two but it didn’t feel fake. Worth a shot.
They’re all credit-based, not totally free, but compared to 90% of what’s out there, they feel like actual Thai dating sites with real profiles.

if you want truly free Thai dating sites, you’re gonna be scraping the bottom of the internet lol.
Every decent Thai dating website I’ve found has some kind of credit or premium system. NaomiDate gives free credits at signup, that’s about as good as it gets.
The 100% free ones either have 3 users total or feel like 2007. Not worth your time.5Has anyone actually met someone in real life through these? it’s possible, but you gotta be upfront.
I told the girl I matched with on LanaDate that I’m coming in October and she was totally down to meet. She even helped me pick a hotel close to her area, hehe
Most women on these dating sites in Thailand are gonna be cautious, but if you’re respectful and not giving off creeper vibes, meeting’s on the table. Yeah I matched with someone on SakuraDate and we talked for about 2 weeks before she brought up meeting first. I didn’t even ask. She appreciated that I wasn’t pushing it.

Sakura’s a good middle ground. Some girls are super serious, but others are just open to chatting and seeing what happens. I told one I’m not ready to commit and she was like “okay, let’s just talk and see if we like each other.”

Following because I have a friend who keeps asking about Thai dating apps and I had no clue what to tell him.151Update: Tried SakuraDate this week and had 3 chats already. One fizzled, one was okay, and one’s been surprisingly deep. Girl from Udon Thani, fluent in English, super kind. She asked me about my family, what kind of relationship I’m after, etc.
Didn’t expect it to feel so… human. I’m gonna stick with it and maybe try Naomi later if this doesn’t work out. Appreciate everyone here!! this thread saved me a lot of money and time 🙏
