Does anyone know what it means to be bullied, abused then being forced to apologise and grovel to the very person who has bullied you because they have made you feel like you are the bad guy and everything is all your fault? Sometimes apologising doesn’t mean you are wrong. Sometimes apologising means you are gracious and kind, and you hate being caught up in a fight you never wished to happen, so you apologise to try to make peace, when in fact you are the injured party.
So Meghan told the world through Oprah that Kate made her cry then apologised to her. But sadly she chose not to tell the world the full story of what really happened.
I’m sure Kate could also arrange a tell all interview with Piers Morgan and voice her side of the story, but she chooses to heed the advice of the Queen, “NEVER COMPLAIN AND NEVER EXPLAIN..” Now, this advice is not a symbol of oppression within the monarchy, neither are royals being SILENCED, rather it’s a gracious reminder, teaching royalty to be grateful. It simply means hey, there are people in far worse life situations, and these people pay for you to wear beautiful expensive clothes and wave at them, yes, life as a royal can be hard, but for goodness sake, shut up and be grateful, because there are millions of people who would risk their lives to be where you are right now.
Kate also can’t VOICE her side of the truth for another reason because right now being black is kinda fashionable, racism is a very big thing now, there is a massive division in the world, we are in the midst of a global pandemic, millions have died, people have lost jobs, people are fed up of lockdowns and wearing masks, they just want to go on holiday, George Floyd was murdered by a white cop, BLACK LIVES MATTER, and now according to black people Harry is suddenly a black man trapped in a white body, his wife is suddenly a black woman who has exposed how racist the royal family is and black people have suddenly been vindicated for colonialism and the slave trade through their new saviour Meghan Markle…that is the world today, in a nutshell.
So obviously The Duchess of Cambridge can not come out at such a time like this and say, “Hang on people, it’s actually Meghan who bullied me and my daughter, and made me cry, and after she did that to me, I still went to her and said sorry because I hate drama I just want peace.” If Kate is to come out to say this, she will surely pay for the sins of her ancestors. She will be the ultimate sacrifice, and carry all the sins of white people on her shoulders.
So all she can do now is to “never complain and never explain.”
The thing is my readers, even though I am a blue black nappy haired black woman, and right now being black is the in thing politically, “well Meghan wouldn’t now be claiming to be black if it wasn’t”. Yes, even though it’s politically correct to be black, yet for real black people like us racism is still rife in our lives, more so from other black people, still I am a black woman who hates hypocrisy, I hate manipulation, I hate deception, and most importantly I am a journalist who loves the truth. So I choose to write the truth even when the truth is not popular.
Like William Shakespeare said, “This above all; to thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”
So I Mary-Tamar was Jean, declare on a rooftop today that Kate did not do anything wrong to Meghan. In Meghan’s own voice, actually, “THE REVERSE HAPPENED” and sadly, Meghan never took responsibility for her wrong. Kate was not even supposed to apologise to Meghan, because it was Meghan who bullied her, and manipulated the situation to make herself the victim.
Because Meghan is extremely jealous of Kate, for obvious number of reasons of course, one being that Kate is a future Queen and she’s not, so during her wedding rehearsals, Meghan chose that time to actually be mean to Kate’s children, (whom she’s angry with because they pushed her husband far down the line of hierarchy making her future children lose titles). She just couldn’t help her jealousy and became so mean to these innocent children so much it was as though she didn’t even want Prince George and Princess Charlotte to be part of her bridal party. Her disdain was mostly directed towards Princess Charlotte, who was only 3 years old at the time. Lord have mercy.
She then ganged up on a little girl, her own husband’s brother’s daughter, Catherine’s daughter, using her former’s best friend Jessica Mulroney’s daughter, who was also a flower girl. Meghan, a grown woman, started making little Charlotte feel bad by constantly telling Jessica’s 6 year old daughter that she was the best flower girl ever, not Charlotte. I’m sorry but can a woman, a grown woman be more wicked and calculating than that? Taking out her jealousy and frustrations on a little girl, a royal girl at that.
I am a mother hen, and I am very protective of my daughters, and my sons too. If anyone hurts my babies, I will not be responsible for my words or actions, there is nothing more evil than a person who has the capacity to be mean to innocent children.
So Kate was pushed to her limits with tolerating Meghan’s twisted and manipulative behaviour which had been going on for a while, she couldn’t hold it anymore, she had already had problems with Meghan demanding that Charlotte should not wear tights, when Kate wanted her in tights because its royal protocol, and frankly it’s more classy to have little girls in tights when wearing flower girl dresses. So Kate had just about had enough and as a protective mother she did what any loving mother would do, and told Meghan off for treating her baby girl like that.
Meghan, being the Queen of Manipulation then quickly activated the “actress” in her and made a scene making it like Kate was being mean to her by making the wedding preparations difficult for her, blaming Kate for adding to the stress of her situation with her father and family. The situation was completely flipped over like a pancake, and Meghan became the victim of “racism” probably as well, from Kate.
And Kate being made to feel like the bad guy whose adding to the pain and stress of poor Meghan, quickly felt bad and apologised, and bought her sister-in-law flowers as a peace offering. Meghan refused the apology and and the peace offering, as doors were slammed and the flowers went straight into the bin.
So yes Kate cried. She couldn’t believe it. I would have wept as well in that situation. So Rather, yes Meghan MADE Kate cry, that’s always been a true story. The truth, not Meghan’s truth. The woman doesn’t know what truth looks like even if it stared her directly in the face.
Also because Meghan always has her “black side” on standby to cover up for her disgusting bad behaviour, she can not be called out for anything at all, she’s untouchable, because racism is already a heated topic today. It makes me so angry, that this woman is using racism to play ball with people, thus undermining actual racism, making a mockery of those who are real victims of it. She reminds me of Jezebel, she’s like a cult leader, and the world right now is under her spell. For her to be even mentioned in the same sentence with words like “courageous”, “strong” and ‘brave” is what angers me the most. Everything about her seems like a sick joke.
I also hate the fact that she makes people succumb to her twisted games by her manipulation, she reminds me of my past life where I was always to apologising for being abused. I even apologised to Walter Masocha, the cult leader who almost destroyed my life. I also grew up saying sorry to my mother for being the bad girl, for being unlovable, for being “demon possessed”, for having panic attacks when forced to slaughter chickens, for being sexually abused, I was always saying, “I’m sorry”. So I know that so many times people say sorry when they are not supposed to. The funny thing is when you say sorry when you are actually the victim, the apology is never good enough and will not be accepted, which adds to the whole ordeal the perpetrator has orchestrated against you.
I can smell deception, I know what manipulation looks like, I sure have been trained by the best, my own mother.
As I said to Meghan, do the honourable thing and remove the crown Britain gave you, stop using the title of Duchess of Sussex to make a living and to demand global worship, stop appropriating the black struggle and I will surely leave her alone.
Until she does, my pen remains uncapped…

Those in highly privileged positions claiming victimhood are miserably ignorant or contemptuous of those suffering genuine and deliberate persecution/neglect. When Meghan delivered a ‘poor me’ tale at her last event in South Africa, in front of people who might’ve never travelled in a private car, or walked on carpet, or knew that feeling of security and peace, she exposed herself as being utterly self absorbed and indifferent to authentic suffering. Thanks for being so straight and gutsy! It’s a rare quality in 2021!

Oprah knew what she was doing. She’s another self obsessed attention seeker who thinks she’s American royalty. It’s pathetic. The Queen and Kate will show them dignity and humility. This is probably one of the best, well written article that I have read since the start of this slow motion train wreck. Once Meghan realized she was not the center of the universe in Britain, she had to create her own scandal/ orchestrated crisis. To think that she could resonate with Princess Diana regarding the press or feeling bullied about her race is almost everything that is wrong with her generation, and America reinforces it! Meghan needs to grow up and stop blaming everyone else. The real reason we aren’t hearing a peep out of the Monarchy is because they aren’t lowering to the level of a little American brat that didn’t get her hiney kissed like she thought she should have. My thoughts exactly! I enjoyed very much readying this article. It saddens me to read comments of people of color believing every single thing she has said. Meanwhile there are black girls truly facing racism, struggling all over the world, girls who couldn’t even dream to be in the position she is at. When she disclosed that Kate had made her cry, conveniently keeping to herself the details of the alleged incident, I figured there was another side to this story. “You never know the truth, you know ‘a truth’”. So sickening!

This is sheer biased and jumping on the bandwagon listening to third party views and getting twitchy fingers on the keyboard. You really need to ask yourself what kind of writer do you want to be.. Which if you have any moral compass, should always be one which doesn’t do damage to another. If someone was to take their life for what you write for example how would you feel. Your response to this article shows just how good Meghan is at manipulation at being a victim. Meghan had it all and could have made such a big impact in life for so many causes but she chose instead to try to be famous and be whiny when she does not get her way. I have been around people who behave like Meghan. They are only out for one thing……themselves. And they do not care who they hurt as long as they get what “they’ want. Let her “die inside” (your characterization) without a title. She does not deserve to be a part of a tradition she hates. Truth is not about making someone feel better. I dont know if all the details are true here, but I do know that Meghan is an embarrassment to the family for not trying to resolve issues within the family and for allowing her jealousy to guide her. So, life is hard as a royal? Life is hard for all of us. Everyone has issues. But, most of us don’t air dirty laundry in exchange for attention.

I don’t understand how she is now identifying as BLACK. her mother being half black and father being all white. Based on percentages how could she say she is black? Am I missing something -shes 25% at most. And her son is 12.5%. I think this is like Pocahontas with her claiming Indian heritage at under 1%. It’s using the struggles of people if truly oppressed races for personal and unwarranted gain. It’s sickening and opportunistic and shame on them.

Wow great article – I can relate to saying sorry a million times to the very narcissistic sociopath that I was being manipulated by and whom I lost everything to… constantly feeling not good enough, constantly letting him get away with belittling, stealing, lying, crazy-making… etc….
I am watching this MeGain horror show and after my experience I can almost predict her behaviour as it comes from the same place as what drove my abuser, a total lack of empathy and a totally selfish agenda…. at all costs.
I am dreading to see how long this narcissistic sociopath drama is played out to us daily to a global audience.
Its so disturbing, so despicable, so damaging and all the enablers in it for money or fame or political clout, are adding to the problem.

Thanks for your thoughts on this topic! In my opinion Meghan only claims her black heritage when it’s convenient or furthers her narrative. And it’s sad that she didn’t actually use her position to fight against racism. She was in a position of power to effect change. Now I don’t know if and how racist the BRF is but I think we can agree that in her position as a member she had more of a platform to fight against it as now.
I personally don’t think that she was really affected by so much racist remarks as more critical remarks of her general behavior. I also think that Harry and Meghan are disingenuous in their efforts to promote equality (and Harry’s not so subtle hints at throwing shade at his brother for maybe making racist remarks) when you look at how they actually dealt with POC.
There’s a big difference between William & Kate and Harry & Meghan when you look at their staff:
William and Kate for example hired Natalie Campbell, a black woman, who worked for their foundation from 2018 on (https://uk.linkedin.com/in/natdcampbell) until she was “poached” from them for the Sussex Foundation (wording from Dailymail) only to stop working for them after 5 month. She was the one behind the Greenfell cookbook, so clearly quite capable as that’s like the only memorable thing from M stunt as a Duchess. H & M were both praised for hiring her as part of their time as it was claimed they were the first senior royals who had an only women staff that was also so diverse: Harry & Meghan Hired an Impressive Addition to Their All-Women Senior Staff
A few remarks on that: not only did that NOT last, which is fine. But that all “women staff” was proven be just a PR line, none of the POC actually remained with H&M. Now, I’m not saying that H&M need to hire POC but as they ran on that new, modern, were so racially aware platform I find it funny that they did not retain their initial diverse staff, nor have made an attempt now with hiring a racially diverse staff. I’m not really a fan of bringing this up as I think people should be primarily hired based on merit, but it’s interesting that Kate and William both hired a very capable Natalie Campbell without making a big fuss (she’s involved in lots of social work) but also have now on their board of trustees Zeinab Badawi. In fact Kate & William have a more diverse team of staff (judging by LinkedIn) including black, Indian and Asian employees than H&M with their primarily white and male team – save for one biracial woman (The Sussex squad: Harry and Meghan’s Hollywood dream team)
obviously hiring is their own prerogative. but the staff hired does not align with the alleged racism from K&W and supposed action from H&M for race issues…

Read this brilliant article first before you comment. This article exposes Markle as a manipulator and a lier. For many who are blinded by het delusional ‘victimhood’ she is the ‘gospel truth-teller’ . But she is just the opposite as she is abusive and vile. Dangerous as well as confusing for so many who are trully suffering. This is not about hate against Markle. Thank you for your honesty. I have heard the same, in regards to how Markle undermined Kate’s children and pitted them against the Mulroney child. Terrible thing to do, under any circumstances. I am so relieved to read your thoughtful words, as Megs has married and dated caucasion men, was a member of a white sorority in college, and has mostly caucasion friends. I’m not criticising her for this, but pointing out that she “uses” race, only when it suits her. Refreshing read, and I am glad to hear you are keeping the cap off that pen.

I think your article is very good I am sorry to hear your own struggles in life but you seem to have come out the other side thank god and bless you , I am a white Irish women who has got through a lot of heartbreak in my life but used it as a learning tool because I think you should learn from life and I will never understand what true racism feels like I do feel like you that there are many of hundreds of thousands of people who deal with it every day that I think coming from a place of privilege and complaining is a little hard to understand that it was a struggle when so many people throughout the world face real struggle every day . I wish Harry and Meghan every happiness for the future just stop complaining and get on with it . I do believe they missed a brilliant opportunity to change things and did not give their Royal Life a chance it was only 4 years from meeting to leaving they should have given it a chance sad for his family . I just hope it all turns out the way they wanted . The truth always has a way of coming out in the end .

Fantastic writer. I think you have summed megan up perfectly. Poor harry has been manipulated from the start. She was welcomed with open arms in the uk. I find her comment of getting married 3 days before a massive slap in the face for us brits and very disrespectful obv this wasn’t the case but the thought that she thought they were is a tad disrespectful x

I was reading earlier, how close Harry and Eugenie used to be … you only have to follow the progress of that relationship – culminating in the calculated theft of the spotlight, by Meghan, who chose to announce her own pregnancy on the day of Eugenie’s wedding – to realise that it wouldn’t be allowed to continue. Harry can’t be anybody’s friend – he’s Meghan’s!
She’s dripped so much spite into the ear of her poor besotted prince that he’s turned away from everyone and everything he once knew and loved to become a sleeping prince imprisoned in Meghan’s tower!
Half of me wants him to wake up and survey the damage he’s caused … the other half, the kinder half, hopes he never has to!

Couldn’t have sad it better myself. Very clear, precise and no sugar coating . I know all persons marrying into the British Royal Family are schooled on every little detail and what to expect, as a close family member. Meghan must have ditched some of her classes. The British Royal Family have withstood a lot more dissatisfied family members than Meghan. She just needs to be glad it isn’t back in the days if beheading for speaking Ill of the royal family….Many more urgent and dire situations in the world than Meghan’s poor me, pity party. Stop giving her the attention she is seeking. Just let her fade into the woodwork.

Because Kate has more dignity in her little finger than Meghan will ever have. I am a royalist and when Meghan came on to the scene I thought she was going to be a breath of fresh air and was hoping to see the “fab Four” as we were calling them, then the jealousy crept in to Meghan’s eyes when she saw how close the three of them were and felt she didn’t or couldn’t have a place, if only she could have tried, but no she didn’t want that she wanted to be top dog but that was not going to be.

What an amazing piece, really enjoyed your thoughts and totally agreed with what you are saying. My initial thoughts were shame on Oprah as she did not cover any other family encounters that Meghan had it was all directed at our Royal Family and Kate. I can understand why William is not happy with Harry saying “Charles and William are trapped in the Royal Family” well Harry seemed perfectly happy until he got married. I am looking forward to the day when Meghan HAS to curtsy to Kate (payback). I feel its a real shame as I thought Meghan would have been an asset and was happy for them both but it seems she had a completely different agenda, and an agenda is what that lady had. Good day. As an American, I agree with your comments about Meghan wholeheartedly. She is a “C-List” actress who thought she would show up and be treated as the best thing that ever happened to the Royal Family. That they would change their ways and traditions to suit her. She is jealous of Kate. I am sure it never even occurred to her that Kate might have also shed a tear or two because she is so wrapped up in herself.

If your version of the facts is true, which I tend to believe, then Meghan was engaging in classic narcissist behavior, which is known as DARVO: deny, accuse, reverse victim & offender. They “flip the script” all the time to paint the actual victim of their abuse as the guilty party. The narc will behave badly, escalate if necessary to finally cause a reaction in their “target” (the victim), then when the victim responds in self defense, the narc goes into drama queen mode to complain that the victim is abusing the narc, & is oh, so nasty & in the wrong! These narcs are pros at “playing the victim” after they were the ones who initially stirred up all the trouble & justifiably hurt feelings in the first place. Yet the narcs will never “own” their own bad behavior, don’t think that they should ever be held accountable for their malice, or dirty deeds, & never take any responsibility for the chaos, ill feelings, & devastation that they create. I speak from experience, having a family member who is a malignant narcissist. Totally arrogant, grandiose; extremely competitive with & envious of other higher status people; completely selfish & self-centered; show no care, concern, or empathy with others; initially schmooze or love-bomb their “targets,” but then always “use” people to serve their own ends, then coldly discard them when no longer useful; highly proficient at masquerading & pretending to be a person of honesty & goodwill, while slyly hiding their, sinister, exploitative, predatory motives behind a fake persona; great “con” artists; become hostile & full of rage if they don’t get their own way; extremely vindictive & vengeful if obstructed or crossed, etc. They are a living nightmare!

The last thing anyone needs is another person who knows nothing about the situation presenting their guesses as fact. You don’t cite any sources who were actually there, you don’t claim to have been actually there. Your conjecture could be true. It also could be completely false. The fact that you are black and argue that Megan’s claims of racism should not be believed makes this article more “interesting” I supposed, But I’m not sure what you are arguing. That she isn’t black enough to have experienced racism? That the racism she faced wasn’t as bad as other people face so she should just suck it up and “be grateful”? You claim to be a journalist who loves the truth. Journalists investigate to find the truth. They don’t make it up in their head and write it as if its fact.

How do u even think that she would treat anyone better? Buddha said that in order to respect yourself you need to respect your roots…Meghan trashed her family and trashed Harry’s family….u can like her … u can even have her as a role model for your children, but Meghan does not have any filial piety, no integrity, no character, no decency….she had a mediocre fame and opportunities that she craftily accessed! I cried as I read this, because this evil woman needs to be exposed for what she is. Every word you wrote I feel is true. The lies, manipulation, spitefulness, & narcissism of Meghan is blatant, & I’m aghast that anyone is fooled by her. The damage that woman has done, & continues to do is horrendous, not just to the Royal Family, but to the British, race relations worldwide, & those POC people who have REAL claims of racism to fight against. How everyone can’t see this is beyond me. I’m in Australia, & her behaviour here was shocking. I’m sure you’ve heard about it.

Enjoyed your article and appreciated your viewpoint. It seems odd that Meghan never seems to feel Harry had any responsibility to prepare her (traditional curtsy to the Queen, preparing her to sing the national anthem, etc.) and apparently Harry did not take a proactive approach to prepare her. Their issues over not being provided free security is baffling as Harry’s mother left him a tidy sum. Yet, he complains as though he has absolutely no means. They seem to want the cash benefits and continued monetary support from Charles, without any responsibilities.

Mary-Tamar, I would like your honest opinion about some things I saw at the wedding and about a few other things. I know as a British citizen you know a lot about what is going on over there.
1. The wedding, I would like to know what you think about what the ministry preached about at the ceremony.
2. Was Megan to curtsy to the Queen has she left.
3. What do you think Diana would be thinking about what Harry is doing to William.
4. I’m a white woman and I would really like to know, why everyone not just black or any other race why everyone keeps bring up race. White people have people murdered , raped, robbed, and everything else other races have done to them. Sometimes I think we get blamed for thinks we do not do. I had family that lived in Cincinnati, Ohio where the underground system was to get the slave out of the south. My family helped get them out. I think black American people have it has good has I do. My husband and I both had to work are whole life to support our family of 4. We had a good life but we never went above are means. I know that being white I’ll be called a racist but ill give anyone the same chance as the next person as long as they deserve it. But do not think I’m going to be pushed around and called something I have fought for. Everyone in this world are the same white,black, yellow, red or any other color. Sorry please let me know what you think. If my spelling is bad it’s because I had 15 minutes of oxygen loss to my brain and I still have problems with spelling and grammar.

I wonder how Kate felt when Meghan was invited to Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham before she married Harry while Kate wasn’t invited until she married Wills even though they dated for 10 years.
And also, I bet Harry threatened to tell the press the Firm was racist if the Queen wouldn’t approve of the marriage because why else would she let him marry someone with such a questionable background. IMO it seems like the Royals have bent over backwards to accommodate Miss I’m Black When It Suits Me Markle in order not to appear racist.

That is an interesting thought Cheryl. I am a white UK citizen, I watched the Harry/Meghan wedding on the day and genuinely thought she was a beautiful woman who could handle the press (due to her acting background) and had a mature attitude, how wrong could I be. Initially was happy for them. Oprah was mentioned when arriving at the wedding ceremony and it was said that Meghan had met her once! not sure if that is true. A few members of Meghans family had arrived prior to the wedding but were not invited. Hmm not very social. I wonder if Oprah had an agenda, Sarah Ferguson was interviewed by Oprah (I cant remember what that was about) but Princess Diana refused an interview. It kinda looks as though Oprah may be thinking there could be a story here? I thought it was very sad that Meghan did not have one kind word to say about her stay in the UK, however, I don’t think that question was asked. All the tax payers money spent on someone who didn’t appreciate how very fortunate she was. I thought her comment that the wedding was just for the people/press/publicity showed her true colours. I’m sure the millions it cost could have been spent on something far more meaningful. It has been publicised that Prince Philip said no good will come of an interview, and how very right he was. Historically all the TV interviews the Royals have done “no good has come of it.” RIP Prince Philip. It is reported that Meghan has said she is ready for an apology from the Royal family! Deluded and sad that she cannot see the hurt she and Harry have caused the Royal family and UK citizens. I do hope that she never ever comes to the UK again, because in my books she is not welcome. Thank you for articles. I had a novel of thoughts and deleted them. Scenes in movies showed me what happened in the past: Umbrella Academy, The help, Driving Miss Daisy, etc. How awful. But I truly appreciated that I got to see and feel part of the struggles. And I don’t get what Underwood meant by “the implication of racism” that got Sharon Osbourne fired. Markle and her lies along with Harry and Oprah’s “your truth” aren’t helping anyone and neither are the riots. Running when the cop says stop but then if you stop what will happen to you. The poor woman trying to get her seatbelt off but the cop wouldn’t let her and kept yanking her out of the car. Being a career criminal but having your life snuffed out because you were treated more harshly because you were black, etc. It’s all a mess and heartbreaking and so awful.
