So Meghan Markle unveiled her son Archie to the world in South Africa last week. The world had been eagerly waiting for this baby, especially black people. They were anticipating his Afro and blackness, lol. I remember when Meghan gave birth to Archie, black people across the world, especially in Britain celebrated the birth of Archie as “the first black baby in the British Royal Family.”
I cringed in utter embarrassment as I watched the celebrations from black people. It’s in times like this I feel embarrassed to be black, the level of inferiority complex in black people is just beyond pathetic really.
I am so glad that Meghan’s baby came out more Caucasian than black people expected. There is no way you can point at that baby and say that’s a black baby. The reason is simple really, none of Archie’s parents are black. Prince Harry is a white man, and so is his wife. Meghan is the seed of a white man.
Then you have black people getting all upset when this truth is told. Like they get so emotional when you tell them that Meghan Markle is a white woman, and her baby is also white.
“But there is the one drop rule! It doesn’t matter if your father is white, as long as there is black blood in you, you are BLACK! White people will see you as black, period! That’s what matters.” A lot of black people will aggressively shout this from rooftops as they claim Meghan Markle and Archie as their own.
Do you black people even realize how racist and ridiculous the “one drop rule” is? Why should white people be the ones to tell you who is black and who is not? Why should they say for anyone to be white, they have to be undiluted, 100% Caucasian, and that same rule can not apply to black people?
Maybe its true that black people have a lower IQ than white people, because I can not fully understand how an entire race accepts the most demeaning racists assertions about themselves, and then take it as some sort of pride. What else explains the level of depravity in the minds of black people?
For any black person to celebrate Meghan Markle and her son as black people, there must be something wrong with your IQ surely. Have a little bit of pride black people. Please. Have just an ounce of integrity, and stop claiming anyone and anything that is rejected by white people.

And for the record, Prince Harry ain’t black either, I have read a few articles by black people also claiming him.
There is nothing amazing about having a “black woman and child” in the British Royal Family. Even if Meghan Markle was actually black, marrying Prince Harry is not a breakthrough for black people.
One black girl actually wrote on social media that when Meghan Markle was walking down the aisle, she was doing it for every black girl out there. Like seriously, no wonder we are a laughing stock to other races.

I have never seen a woman so disliked by an entire nation and race since I was born. This woman is without a doubt the most hated woman on planet earth. And I thought I was hated by Zimbabweans.
A woman is not supposed to be hated by her husband’s family and people. If anything, when a foreign woman marries a man, and leaves her country and people for her man, the people should embrace her and love her, not hate her. I left my country and people to be with my Boaz, and Ghanaians love me and embrace me. The same with Ruth, Esther or even Rehab the prostitute. Even Ghanaian Sally Mugabe was loved by Zimbabweans when she left her people for Robert Mugabe. But for Meghan Markle it’s been the exact opposite. British people absolutely loath this woman.
Then you have black people saying, “But she is like Princess Diana, that’s why they hate her.”
Ummm, no she is not, Princess Diana was loved and adored by white people, the ruling race, that’s where the difference is with Meghan. Princess Diana was the people’s Princess, literally.
Off course black people adore Meghan, but according to white people, their opinions are irrelevant anyway, and can you blame white people, since black people have such a low pathetic opinion of themselves anyway.
Black people will argue that Meghan Markle is hated because she is black. Thats not entirely true. Meghan Markle is hated for many reasons actually. English people are not particularly kind to foreigners, that’s why they conquered the world. That’s why immigrants are treated so cruelly in the UK. The English see themselves as the superior Nation to all nations in the world, hence their monarchy is the most powerful in the world, despite their brutal history. Meghan Markle is mostly hated because she is an AMERICAN.
Secondly Meghan is disliked by white people because she has black blood in her, that cant be denied, the one drop rule has made white people angry. According to them, why should a woman diluted by black blood marry their white Prince? But that’s different from being hated because she is a black woman. Diane Abbot is hated because she is black. Michelle Obama is hated because she is black. Winnie Mandela was hated because she was black. These women know what it means to be black, and having to fight for their right to succeed in a white ruled world.
Meghan Markle on the other hand, has had mixed race privilege all her life. If anything the reason why she married the English “Prince” is because she has the white privilege through her father. If Meghan was a black woman like us, she would not be with Prince Harry. This is a FACT.
So it makes me cringe when I see black people celebrate Meghan as one of their own people. The level of desperation to be accepted and to belong is just pathetic. What an insult to the true daughters of Zion.
If being part of the British Royal Family is such a big breath-through for black people, at least celebrate the right person. The only “breakthrough” to celebrate here if there is any, should be Doria Ragland. She is the only black person connected to the royal family as far as the truth is concerned.
But then again, Doria is a black woman who wants nothing to do with her own people. That’s why at her daughter’s wedding, no single black person was invited from her side. That’s why she had to have her daughter by a white man. This woman is black in color, but she would rather be identified with white people. It also explains why her daughter Meghan has only ever dated white men.
So I don’t know what it is that Black people celebrate when it comes to Meghan and her mother. It’s all very sad really. We are desperate to belong to white people.
Anyway, claim royal baby Archie all you want black folks, the struggle of belonging is real I get it, but please do not mention black and Archie in the same sentence, its embarrassing and insulting to some of us, the few who take pride in our undiluted melanin and who do not need white people to validate our royalty.

So dear black people, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is not black, and will never be black. Point taken, but must you be so abrasive in stating it? “Race” is obviously a social construct. In the U.S. only the Black race was ever legally defined and, therefore, Black identity has tended to be less flexible than other racial identities.
I had ancestors who were Melungeons, mountain people who claimed to be anything but Black, even though most were the descendants of former Black male indentured servants and White women. In a mischievous way, I enjoy the fact that they attempted to subvert the racialized systems of the U.S. On the other hand, it is distressing that they had to do so and a bit maddening that many get upset if you point out that they have any African DNA. My point: it’s confusing to me, but for me to see my direct ancestors as anything other than Black challenges my identity as a Black person.
I know the history, but how do I explain that my family’s Black identity was shaped by someone who “quadroon” or “octoroon” — a person who now likely wouldn’t have to dodge any social structures to live a full life today? Shifting racial definitions require shifting identities. So, hanging onto old concepts may not be a symptom of “low intelligence” as you say, but instead another item in the emotional baggage that we carry as Black people.
I say “Black people” because not all Black people are African American. That brings me to my next point, African Americans, and I believe this is an education issue, have a habit of applying U.S. definitions and concepts worldwide. We need to travel more, just to see what it means to be “Black” in various countries. We would also see who is Black in various countries, and what it means, although it almost always means some form of oppression.
There was no “One drop rule” in most countries. The people of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as India, were considered to be White. What that shows is that “White race” has rungs belie the ridiculousness of “race.” Although it is ridiculous, it is also a real social construct that has shaped, and will continue to shape, our lives.
We need to work against becoming like our oppressors. Every misdeed and/or misstep cannot be explained away with a history lesson, especially when we often have the history wrong as well. Putting a much higher emphasis on education would help. And recovery has to be in the mix, and it is surely lacking.

Being biracial is difficult, there’s always a feeling of not belonging anywhere and I’m sure Meghan Markle can speak to that. My stepsister has a white mother and black father, she’s stunningly beautiful but she’s never lived among black people, her family is white, she married a white guy, her kids like Meghan Markles kids look white. As a white woman it’s not my place to decide who is black and who isn’t, it’s obviously more than a question of skin color though, as American black people have a culture of their own, distinct from American culture. I agree with this article that people hate Meghan because she’s American, but really it doesn’t matter why, the way she’s been treated has been inexcusable and terrible. Shame on the British people, the British press that slammed Meghan for doing the same things they praised Kate for, she never stood a chance. Wait, so let me get this straight: based on your logic, race is based not on actual DNA makeup, but rather the how closely the physical manifestation of those genes meets the physical “standard” (or stereotype) of what any particular race looks like? So, if you’re light skinned (which could really many anything, depending on the arbitrary cutoff as to what skin color is dark enough to be “real” black) or have hazel or light colored eyes, you’re not a “real” black person. So, that basically rules out all light-skinned people, who now need to be informed they’re actually white. Beyoncé, Billie Holiday, Jesse Williams, Lisa Bonet, Zoe Kravitz, Lenny Kravitz, Zoe Saldana, Zendaya, Alicia Keys Rihanna, TI, Faith Evans, and the list goes on and on, not to mention every black person with albinism. I don’t like to say this BUT…you are casting aspersions on Doria when you say

In fact, when Meghan was in Africa on a tour she publicly stated “I’m here as a woman of colour, I’m here as your sister” and she fully acknowledges her ancestry. Her mother and herself have also been the target of racism since she was young. That Doria didn’t invite any black relatives to the wedding and “wants nothing to do with her own people, that’s why she had to have her daughter by a white man” is again casting aspersions. 1. Meghan does not appear to be that close to her aunties and uncles on either side so perhaps didn’t want to invite them. 2. Who are you to judge who someone falls in love with.

The author of this article has absolutely no idea what they’re going on about tarnishing entities race’s with the same brush saying all black people love and hate this, think this and that way and then the same for white people. I agree some people may be like that but not all and it is not fair to say all Britons have issues with black people. There are black British people and un-racist white British people. Not everyone adores the royal family and not everyone gives one damn about celebrities and what “race or class” they are in. They are just people trying to live theirs lives.
Some privileged white people do understand the struggles black people go through worldwide as well. We are not separate race according to skin colour. We are one race the human race and we need to make that clearer to the new generations growing up. Not creating more or a divide.

If you want to know why Megan Markle wasn’t accepted in the UK ask the malicious meddling media because everyone was happy enough until they started leaking stories about her being an utter narcissist who was targeting the tradition of the Royal Family and generally stamping her little feet.
This institution has existed for centuries and is deeply embedded in the British collective identity and yes – it may well need to evolve but it wasn’t the job of a divorced American actress who somehow got herself into Royal circles to sweep in and achieve this single handedly, The role of a royal princess is to serve the royal family and if you don’t want to do that don’t take the job.. Megan was never a ‘typical’ Royal princess (these are generally quiet, young British girls from middle class families with noble heritage who can be easily moulded and know the ropes) if she was wise she would have gently eased herself into place before she started to publicly dismantle the furniture.
Regarding your assumption that all white people are racist – whilst the media has a undoubted fascination with stirring the race pot this is not an issue for the vast majority of white Brits. As a general rule we have a well integrated society and accept each other without question. That’s not to say racism doesn’t occur but in actual fact it occurs less here that in a lot of countries in the world. We are also not unkind to settlers, immigrants or refugees. We make good provision for those coming to settle here and often give them priority treatment if their circumstances warrant it. We just cannot take as many as larger countries as we are a small island with limited resources and this has to be managed for everyone’s benefit
Personally I probably have more than ‘one drop’ of non Caucasian DNA in me -and most British Caucasians have a variety of ethnic heritage on account of the history and evolution of our country – although it’s not always immediately visually apparent what a person’s ethnic heritage is even if they are biracial like Megan Markle. People may well identify as black or white or mixed. This is up to them to decide and not pushy groups who try to exert their opinion on the situation . This kind of stereotyping, labelling and categorising does nothing to bond any of us and can lead people to make assumptions about others views, experiences and heritage when they know nothing about it. This is also called racism.

As an actual African AMERICAN I have to say – it’s very weird and offensive to have someone from Zimbabwe tell us how to classify and/or view ourselves racially based on YOUR standards.
We are not YOU, YOU are not us. Genetically, you are a completely different ethnicity than us . Our ancestors were North Western Africans from places like Senegal, Mali, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Europe. NOT Zimbabwe.
We did not get our DNA or culture from Zimbabwe. Slaves from Zimbabwe were sent to the middle east, not the Americas.
The vast majority of African-Americans have only 73% Sub-Saharan DNA. Some of us like Meghan & Archie have less. So we have skin tones that range from white to the darkest browns possible. Our hair comes in all different textures and colors – I’m a proud red head. That’s who African-Americans are. From the minute we were isolated from the African DNA pool we became our own unique ethnic group. And that group is proudly a mixed race.
So here in America Meghan, Archie and Lilibet are free to be as African-American/Black as THEY choose to be. It’s up to them, not you. And hey don’t have to explain why they check certain boxes sometimes. WE understand and are ok with it. It’s an African-American thing that YOU don’t have the African-American life experience to understand.
You seriously have no right to impose your bigotry on who we should include in our numbers. No one gave you that authority and it’s not your place. It’s as offensive as an European trying to do the same thing. Stay out of OUR family business, we’re not in yours. Stop trying to project YOUR self-hate onto us.

Well since if Meghan & other Biracial people aren’t black (regaurdless of skintone because there Biracial people that are born with darker skin. It’s not always half & half or nearly white) then if a black person has a baby with a person that is Biracial (which but your logic) is not black neither is that baby because of their Biracial (half black half white) parent even if the other parent has parents that are both black.
So if white parent + black parent= Biracial-not black + white parent = ¼ black ¾ white baby/mixed race- not black
Then biracial parent- not black + black parent = ¾ black ¼white baby is also mixed race & shouldn’t be considered black either. Also why do I only see articles like this when it comes to biracial mixed when o e parent is white having a baby with someone black? I never hear this said when it’s a black parent who had a baby with a Latin, Asian, Indigenous, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern or other race that’s not black. I have never heard someone say, “You’re dad’s Latino so don’t say you’re black!” Also you need to remember that those people who have one black parent or grandparent have the same ancestors who were slaves in the U.S of A just like those that had 2 black parents. Kamala pledged a sorority with my best friend. She is part of the Black American community and she does not need you to tell her who she is. That said, saying she is “Black” does not deny that she is not also “Indian!”
Bottom Line: The majority of Black Americans have mixed heritage. In many, many different ways with many different blends. Often, in the same families, all the time, we come out with all kinds of colors, hair textures, fixtures mixes.

Americans have made being ‘black’ into some sort of club for the disenfranchised; anyone can be ‘black’ so long as they have an axe to grind. You don’t have to look ‘not-white’, or possess any specific cultural heritage. You can just ‘identify’ as ‘black’ and claim to be oppressed.
Most of the ‘white’ world has more than that ridiculous ‘one drop of black blood’.
So maybe if you are American then Archie is ‘black’, HM the Queen was ‘black’ (along with the rest of the European monarchies), you’re ‘black’, I’m ‘black’ everybody is ‘black’.

There is no such thing as biracial – we are all human and posses the traits of dozens of independently advanced cultures and populations.
To judge an individual’s ‘race’ by the phenotype of their skin colour is ludicrous – race = homo sapiens, ancestral geographic origin is just that, and culture is not genetic.
If you ‘look’ black then you suffer the bigotry, if you don’t then you don’t.
