Meghan’s Royal Snub: The Duchess’s Palace Troubles, Part 2

It was the Duchess of Sussex’s first Remembrance Day as an individual from the Royal Family. But for some reason, during the ceremony on Sunday, she seemed alienated from the rest of the prominent royal members and was made to stand on a different balcony where she was joined by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s wife Elke Buedenbende.

Kate Middleton on the other hand, stood next to the Queen alongside Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall on the balcony above the Cenotaph war memorial. Though everything is done according to royal pecking order and hierarchy, and Meghan is not a prominent royal, there was something not quite right about Meghan not being able to join the other royals.

As if that was not bad enough for the Duchess of Sussex, the main press took a lot of pleasure in comparing Meghan’s outfit and make-up to that of Kate’s. Apparently, Kate looked more polished than Meghan.

Kate is reported to be more put together than Meghan

I think these are two different women with two different styles. Meghan is very new to the royal lifestyle, and Kate has been in the game far longer and has worked out what style works for her. Meghan is still to figure a lot of things out. She looked out of place standing on a separate balcony. I hope with time she will able to find her place in the British Royal Family, before its too late.
